Washington State Senior Games

Summer 2025

The Washington State Senior Games, now in its 28th year, is the largest Olympic-style multi-sport event in Washington. It will be held from late June to mid August, 2025, at various sites throughout the South Sound. Over 1,800 participants took part in the 2024 Senior Games. The Washington State Senior Games is an OPEN competition; we welcome all residents of Washington State as well as athletes from other states and countries.

The Washington State Senior Games is an all-volunteer 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing a forum that initiates and encourages camaraderie through athletic competition and the Olympic spirit. The event assists in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and promotes positive healthy activities for the participants, their families and the communities where they live.

The purpose of the Washington State Senior Games is to keep seniors healthy and productive. Participation in the Senior Games is a year-round effort to enhance wellness. Our mission is to promote health and fitness throughout the year for people from 50 years of age to 100+ through participation, competition and education. The Washington State Senior Games has been an annual event since 1997 (other than 2020 when COVID hit).

We encourage all seniors to get off the couch and exercise your body and your mind. Join us for fun, fellowship and some friendly competition. Sign up with a friend and start training today at your local YMCA, health club, fitness center or in your own home.

The Washington State Senior Games is a registered non-profit organization that relies on individual and corporate financial contributions to help provide these games.
